About Us
Linda and Alex enjoy the delights of two adult daughters and a wider family group at all stages of life . Fitness walking, tennis, reading extensively, movies, enjoying fine wine with close friends along with growing and preparing the best in fresh food, together with planning and undertaking their own travels are all part of this time in their lives, shared with a moggie of 'no fixed abode' and until recently, a dissolute, opinionated dachshund. A 100 year old Auckland villa is home, where renovation together with a full sized garden, is a source of lots of enjoyment and a little frustration.

Alex – photographer  Alex is a current member of The Advertising and Illustrative Photographer's Association being an experienced professional with a large portfolio of completed assignments. With a photographer's eye, able to see image potential in the otherwise ordinary and a family architectural background, Alex has an original edge. Creative photography demands technical skill and a constant desire to make pictures, as quoted by Freeman Patterson, a highly regarded Canadian photographer "If you only photograph when you feel like it, you'll never be a successful photographer".The fast paced world of fresh produce exporting requires decisive action after careful observation easily translating to photography, where the quick acting photographer captures 'a moment in time'. Formal quality management and image editing training bring out the best image processing results using Adobe creative suite software. We shoot professional 35mm digital and film, Nikon and Contax equipment with a full complement of specialty lenses and lighting we are able to shoot in challenging conditions when required. Linda is a current member of The New Zealand Author's Association and has achieved The National Diploma in Journalism (Graduate) – Feature Writing paper. Writing has always been a source of sheer pleasure. Linda wrote simple poetry to be recited before school assembly as a small person, then speeches to win senior school competitions. A move to the country was the catalyst to article writing, with several lively pieces published in lifestyle magazines on the family's wide learning curve of rural experiences.
