The clumps of Reinga lilies form a stunning foreground for the view to the studio lake lodge. The 'over the water' deck transports you to a leisurely Somerset Maughan style of afternoon. Various waterbirds come and go but bitey insects seem absent today although I am sure a little prudence is well advised.
From our lodge the light slowly fades leaving a golden glow on the poplars and undulating hills beyond. Time to go in, feed Tammy and enjoy examples of Ruby's spectacular art.
