We all have that box full of old photographs and slides, some of which are worthy of high quality restoration. But, it is not quick work and we have a simple motto - 'it doesn't leave our studio until we love it'.

We assess your collection, give a close estimate of final cost and will tell you before any work is started if a satisfactory result may not be possible. No work = no charge.

Great care is taken of your valuable photographs and slides as we know they are the only surviving record and of course the restorative process is non-destructive to the originals.

Full restoration includes image preservation to archive quality CD/DVD. You can then have your restored images printed. There are too many printing options available for us to offer 'inhouse' printing, but we can discuss several of the best with you on completion of the restorative work.
Our hourly studio charge is NZ$70.00 plus GST.

Our standard archival service is a high resolution scan / transfer to archive quality DVD (approx 100x30mb tiff images / DVD) and costs NZ$4.65 / image. We also offer a low resolution scan / transfer at NZ$0.35 / image. (approx 3000x1mb jpeg images / DVD). No retouching is included. Optional retouching, including high resolution scan / transfer costs NZ$7.50 / image. Retouching is not full service restoration, only repairing very minor scratching, spotting and fading. We accept 35mm slides, unmounted 35mm positive and negative film, medium format film and printed photographs, monochrome or colour.
