Frequently asked real estate photography questions

These questions have been asked by clients in recent times - we hope they can answer some of your queries if you are considering a photoshoot, but don't hesitate to email or phone us if your questions are not answered here.
► How many images can we expect?

20 - 25 images for the average 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 500m2 section

► How long will a shoot take?

About 80 minutes for an average house, up to 2.5 hours for a larger property, motel or other hospitality venue with pool, court and/or views.
How much does a shoot cost?

We charge $70.00 / hour so with the average residential shoot taking about 80 minutes, plus 60 minutes of image processing time the invoice amount would be $163.33 plus GST. A shoot maximum of $280.00 plus GST offers price security to our clients whilst allowing flexibility for unforseen 'on site' delays.
We do not charge travel in metro Auckland and reserve the right to charge travel on a cost recovery basis elsewhere.
For larger assignments, such as lifestyle, commercial and hospitality properties which may involve more than 4 hours shoot/process time we charge a base rate of $280.00 plus GST and $70.00/hour thereafter. Evening shoots are charged at $70 per hour (shoot + process time).

Do you provide pre-shoot advice?

YES - please read our 'shoot ready checklist' on this website.

Do you provide a home staging service?

Perishable items are charged at cost and a shoot creative fee of $115.00 plus GST applies - this includes a site assessment visit. Please ask for our 'additional touch' service when booking the shoot and check our 'additional touch' page.
